June 3, 2025 – PremierBank’s Executive Vice President, COO, and CFO, Peggy Stebbins was among those named in Independent Banker magazine’s seventh annual 40 Under 40: Community Bank Leaders list, celebrating emerging leaders who are shaping the future of community banking through their innovation, leadership, and commitment to service. The Independent Banker magazine is the monthly publication of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA).
The June issue of Independent Banker highlights each honoree and delves into the themes that define their contributions, such as leveraging technology for greater efficiency, prioritizing risk management, and cultivating a culture of innovation and collaboration. Honorees were selected based on their character, leadership, community engagement, and innovative thinking. The article groups this year’s rising stars into key categories: Efficiency Strategists, Digital Leaders, Community Changemakers, Risk Mitigators, Creative Thinkers, and Personal Bankers.
Stebbins joined PremierBank in March 2023, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry, with leadership roles in both privately held and publicly traded financial institutions. She has led enterprise-wide initiatives in strategic planning, core technology upgrades, and operational transformation. Stebbins holds a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and is an alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
